What “lowest cost” means
Results show the lowest eligible supported plan per product, ordered by estimated monthly price in US dollars before taxes. Equal costs share a rank. We do not claim to cover every provider or negotiate private discounts.
How the calculation works
A plan starts with its recurring fee. We apply included allowances, documented usage credits, billing increments, usage rates, and modeled limits. Every calculation returns line items. A plan that cannot support the workload is excluded from the cost ranking rather than shown as free.
Requirements come before a purchase
Products in a category are alternatives to evaluate, not guaranteed substitutes. Runtime compatibility, regions, data residency, service reliability, support, and operational responsibilities can differ. Read each category’s scope and the conditions in its cost breakdown.
What growth simulations tell you
A growth chart varies the category’s primary usage input while holding the other inputs constant. It is a scenario, not a forecast. Customer count alone does not determine requests, data transfer, storage, or compute. Change those assumptions separately.
Sources and freshness
Each plan links to an official pricing source and records when its rules were checked. Pricing can change after verification. Confirm the terms directly with the vendor before buying. We do not label page downloads or vendor claims as independently verified pricing.
What estimates leave out
Taxes, currency conversion, negotiated enterprise contracts, temporary promotions, migration effort, and unsupported service charges are not included unless a plan explicitly says otherwise. Stack totals deduct documented shared subscription fees when plans assume the same account or project. They do not deduplicate overlapping usage allowances or unrelated bundles.
Vendors and independence
Directory submissions and corrections are free. Paid accounts and sponsored placements never affect the calculated ranking. Sponsored directory placements are labeled separately. Approved directory submissions require separate pricing-model review before inclusion in calculated comparisons.
Corrections
Vendors can create an account and submit their official pricing page and corrected details. A submitted listing does not grant control of the calculation rules.
