THE SOFTWARE COST COMPASS
USING COSTROAST

Useful estimates. Clear expectations.

Comparisons

CostRoast provides estimates based on supported public pricing rules and the inputs you choose. Results are not vendor quotes or guarantees of a future bill. Confirm vendor pricing, compatibility, eligibility, and contractual terms before purchasing. Our methodology describes calculation limits.

Product submissions

Submit only accurate public information you have permission to provide. Do not submit credentials, customer records, unlawful material, or deceptive claims. Submissions may be rejected or withdrawn. Acceptance into the directory does not certify a vendor or guarantee inclusion in cost calculations.

Vendor Pro

Where available, Vendor Pro is a recurring subscription of $29 USD per month. Checkout shows the amount before purchase. Subscription status is determined from payment records. Pro supports up to 10 active product submissions and a separately labeled Sponsored directory area for approved listings. The free account supports one active submission. No impressions, leads, or sales are guaranteed. Payment never affects organic cost rankings or editorial approval.

Cancellation

Subscribers can manage or cancel renewal through the billing portal from their dashboard. Consult the portal for the effective date and current subscription status. Cancellation is not a promise of a refund. We do not advertise a separate refund guarantee.

Fair use

After a downgrade, existing submissions remain. New submissions are limited by the current plan. If you cannot sign in, use billing help to manage renewal through Stripe using your billing email.

Do not bypass access controls, impersonate another business, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt service. Your account is for managing your own submissions. Keep account credentials secure.

Availability and changes

Catalog coverage, calculation models, and product features may change. Stored pricing-source dates identify when rules were checked. Shared links preserve inputs but may calculate against a later pricing version. Export a dated report when you need a record of a decision.
